Greg Wells can to Nebraska #1 as a ready made Senior Deacon. Perfect timing as the lodge had a need for his leadership in the position he left Jachin Lodge 146 in Holdrege, NE.
Greg Wells was born May 30th, 1955 in California where my Father was stationed while in boot camp. The newly spouting family was shipped out to Yokohama, Japan for four years. Both of his sisters were born in Japan. After his father’s four years of active tour, the family moved to Topeka, Kansas. A couple of years later (1961) the family moved to Hastings, Nebraska.
Greg graduated from Hastings High School in 1973 and went on to Central Community College where he received a Mechanical Drafting degree in 1975.
Greg's job relocated him to Denver, CO in April of 1975 where he met my wife Maureen. The couple was married on August 16, 1975. They moved back to Hastings in January of 1976.
They were blessed with daughter Nicole who was born in October of 1977 and their son Robert born in July of 1979. Greg worked for his father-in-law in the farm machinery business until he closed in December 1987. The family moved to Holdrege, NE where Greg was employed at a local machinery dealer.
Greg had a job opportunity with Inland Truck Parts & Service as an inside parts salesman here in Omaha, and in 2002 the family moved to Omaha, NE.
Both of his children are now married. Nicole lives in Lincoln and has three children, Addison, Zack, and Jena. Robert is living and working in Omaha after graduating from UNK in December of 2003.
Greg was raised on February 22, 2000 at Jachin Lodge 146 in Holdrege. He served as Senior Deacon prior to moving to Omaha. Greg joined Nebraska #1 in early 2003 and was appointed Senior Deacon serving as Junior Warden in 2004, Senior Warden in 2005.
Greg brings with him a unique management style warm and to the point, yet very friendly.
