Worshipful Master Pepper Aasgaard gave us a challenge to have the lodge proficient by years end. All members are asked to do their part to help the lodge in this noble cause and for future generations. Bill Schwiesow is working of the stairs lecture, a new affiliated member (WB Billy Ray King) is working on Questions and Answers and MW Phillip Lorenzen is planning on helping any brother you needs posting or a word to help them with their individual lectures. Let’s have fun and accomplish this noble edict to bring in the Sesquicentennial!
Our 150th Year Nebraska Lodge Pins have been disseminated to all our members in Mid-December of 2002. Our Pins are given to our members free of charge; however we will accept contributions to offset costs of the pins and for events during our 150th year celebration. Please wear them with pride and as a member of our fine fraternity.
The Widows and Orphans Dinner !
The Widows and Orphans Dinner will be held on September 29th, 2003!
.. . . if we are able to bring joy to one widow: we are successful in fulfillment of one of our basic obligations. Each widow will receive a red rose and the eldest widow received a dozen.
Worshipful Master Pepper Aasgaard's desire is that all surviving spouses of members of our lodge continue to receive our quarterly Trestle Board.
Pepper Aasgaard had several heart warming conversations with many widows during this past year. He expressed that we will continue to have dinners and activities for our widows and stated that in late Summer we would be again contacting the widows for this planned activity.
